Snapshots & Vernacular Photography
Like so many others, I like to waste time on the Internet. Recently I was browsing and chatting online when Kevin linked me to a wonderful online gallery, Square America, a gallery of vintage snapshots & vernacular photography. I really like the idea of vernacular photography. Anyway, it's one of the most interesting things I've seen while browsing in a while. One of its features is a set of pictures entitled What the Camera Saw. Sometimes the camera is sees more amazing things that we do. :-)

They might be giants...

Guillotine galaxy...

Walking and falling...

Losing face...

Kafka's bride...

Then be not coy, but use your time...

also great if you like taking shrooms, waiting an hour and then looking at photographs.

wait ... all photographs will kinda look like these on shrooms.

There are actually some cool 70s pictures like this I found in the abandoned place that had the 107 film in it.

I might go grab some before they demolish the building.

Whoa this stuff is awesome, very painterly. I love the old occult photography from this same era. Thanks for sharing!
