Melancholy, Decay, and Technology
If you haven't tried out the speedy tools for building a gallery, you should! If you go to uber.com and locate the large Photo Gallery button, you'll be on your way to something like this! My first attempt at creating a gallery required minimal effort on my part, most of which was devoted to deciding which photographs I would include. My friend Kevin also built a page in the brief time that we were on the Instant Messenger together. In my work as a network engineer and linux sysadmin, I'm used to everything having to require great effort. It was pretty refreshing to come up with something so great looking in 10 minutes time.

I'm quite the techie Luddite though (curse those mechanized looms!), so it only seemed fitting that I create a gallery to honor the film types that I love with a theme that is recurring in my photography... demise and how nostalgia only exists in reference to decay. Perhaps I'm afraid for all films types, not just Polaroid ones.

Here are a few shots from the new gallery, Decay & Melancholy. Hope you'll try the new tools, too.

It is very easy...But i think what confused me--in trying to add some images that were already on file--its that the page is set when once its created?
In anycase--this is without doubt a great way to orgainize and showcase ones work.
I still feel alittle disorientated in building personalized pages---
but i am determined.

if you used the easy upload and click... it created a folder by the days date. You can simply drag other photos to that folder!
